Appearance, taste and texture
Colourless with a strong and refreshing taste of sugar cane, a vibrant bouquet and refreshing finish.
How to drink
Best enjoyed neat over ice or in cocktails. Our rum goes particularly well with seafood, red meat, game or even foie gras. If you prefer something sweeter, try it with chocolates or peanut brittle.
Top tip from the Weber family: serve neat over ice alongside slow roasted shoulder of lamb. It's surprising but it works!
The perfect cocktail
The mojito is the classic white rum cocktail - and our rum makes a mean one - but we’ve opted for the more elegant daiquiri, the perfect, refreshing blend of sweet and sour flavours.
The Classic Daiquiri
50ml Señor Weber white rum
25 ml fresh lime juice
10ml simple syrup (1part sugar dissolved in 1 part water)
Shake ingredients together with lots of ice, double strain into a chilled coupe and garnish with a twist of lime peel.
About Weber Haus rum
The Weber family has been producing Weber Haus cachaça, rum and gin in small batches in traditional copper stills on the same farm in southern Brazil since 1848.
Señor Weber rum is distilled in a copper still from 70% sugar cane juice and 30% molasses. Classic rum uses just molasses and is heavier and more sugary as a result. The sugar cane juice we use brings a lightness and grassiness to our rum, and a balanced texture on the palette.
